This Street Works course combines essential theory with hands-on practical training, giving you the confidence to carry out street works in line with current legislation and industry standards. You’ll learn how to safely set up and manage a work site, implement correct signing, lighting and guarding, and carry out excavation and reinstatement activities to the required standard.
Delivered by experienced industry professionals, the course reflects real working practices and prepares you for the demands of working on live highways. On successful completion, you’ll understand how to work safely, protect both yourself and the public, and achieve the standards expected across the industry.
You’ll also receive your Street Works Qualification Register (SWQR) card, providing the recognised certification required to carry out street works on the UK highway.For those looking to progress or join at the supervisor level you will need to provide your Street Works Qualification Register (SWQR) card.
