Some moving or updating content does not provide a clear mechanism to pause, stop, or control it.

2.4.1 Bypass Blocks

There is not always a mechanism to allow users to bypass repeated blocks of content, or the mechanism provided does not function correctly.

2.4.3 Focus Order

Focus does not always move in a logical and predictable order, particularly when interacting with same-page links, dynamic controls, and page updates.

Keyboard focus is not always clearly visible, or relies on subtle visual changes that are difficult to perceive.

2.4.11 Focus Not Obscured (Minimum)

Focused elements are sometimes obscured by other interface components, making it difficult for users to see where they are on the page.

3.2.3 Consistent Navigation

Navigation does not always behave consistently across the site, which can make it harder for users to predict where links will take them.

We are currently reviewing and prioritising these issues. We will publish target dates for remediation following this review.

Content not within the scope of the accessibility regulations

PDFs and other documents

Some of our PDFs and Word documents are essential to providing our services. For example, we have PDFs with information on how users can access our services, and forms published as Word documents. We are reviewing these documents and will prioritise remediation or replacement with accessible HTML where appropriate.

The accessibility regulations  do not require us to fix PDFs or other documents published before 23 September 2018 if they’re not essential to providing our services.

Any new PDFs or Word documents we publish will meet accessibility standards.

What we’re doing to improve accessibility

We are currently reviewing and prioritising these issues. We will publish target dates for remediation following this review.
